Note: Daily requirement of vitamin C for an adult man is 90 milligrams, an adult woman is 75 milligrams and for a pregnant woman is 105 milligrams. Taking excess vitamin C orally can cause some side effects such as nausea, stomach cramps, heartburn, headache and other health issues. But if you take more than 2000 mg daily you can suffer severe side effects like kidney stones and severe diarrhea.
