As per the study in the Journal of Education and Health Promotion, it was found that women who perform the exercise for at least three days a week had fewer menstrual cramps than that of the women who did not work out at all.

During the period, physical activity does not have to be intense as it may cause problems. Walking for 10-15 minutes also can work great during periods.

  2. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Dehydration increases during the period which results in constipation, bloating, stomach upset, and so on. Drink at least 3-4 liters of water daily. Drink water every 15 minutes. It can help a lot during your menstruation cycle.
